Both quarterbacks played well. Reilly was just a bit better than Nichols when the game was in doubt. Winnipeg’s secondary blew a lot of coverages as usual.

O’Shea cost his team the game with an ill-advised fake punt in his own end of the field that backfired and blew a tight game open. He should go to Vegas in the offseason. Casinos would love him.

Too bad. Was hoping for Little Peg.

O'Shea's gamble backfires. That is his modus operandi. He goes for it. Live by the sword. Die by the sword.

Turnovers were the difference in both semis. Ottawa lost the turnocer battle 4-0. Wimipeg has lived on turnovers for two years but lost the turnover battle 3-0.

EDM can challenge CGY. This fan might be favouring the Schmos a bit.

Go, Riders over Argos.

This fan has no problem with the crossover system. Let the best teams play.

I’ll be pulling for a battle of former Eskimo QBs, wih Ricky Ray looking as good as ever in Toronto and Jason Maas coaching the Eskimos.

As a footnote to the Lions Swayze Waters experiment, he was apparently injured (again) a few weeks ago.
Sean Whyte was brought back for FG kicking last week, even though he still didn't feel 100%--long rehab that needs the off-season to complete. Today he was only called upon for 1 FG. He had some interesting comments about kicking in winter conditions here:

I think EDM has a better chance of beating CGY than WPG would have. SSK vs TOR should be quite a game next week.

3 Bomber turnovers which resulted in 14 points was the difference in the game.

I have no problem with the Saskatchewan Roughriders being the first team to win a division final as a crossover team and making it an all west final and stealing this trophy which was only for east division teams.

^Same I actually hope Saskatchewan wins the East so people will fully realize how crappy the East is compared to the West; the West has been so much better and more competitive every single season for the past decade and a bit pretty much.
