Wow, the market for QBs has tightened up a lot in the last 24 hours. Harris' shoulder sounds serious, and is his first after knee and ankle injuries last season. (Kevin Glenn's hand injury might not be long term though).

He also missed a 44yd attempt. It seems to be a rough time for kickers recently with Hajrullahu last week costing TOR in their marathon at HAM.

No idea why he thought he was entitled to that call. A complete waste of a challenge, not even remotely close to going Edmonton's way.

Stamps leading the Eskimos 12-9 at the half after trailing most of the game. Late in the half Edmonton lost a challenge and Jason Maas totally went ballistic. He threw his headphone into the ground and threw what appear to be a kicking tee into the stands. He incurred an unsportsmanlike penalty on the play.

Karma is a "less than pleasant lady".... Maas was one of the worst when it came to going on fishing expeditions with challenge flags prior to the rule change.

Calgary and Edmonton are literally beating the tar out of each other.

Great finish to tonight's game. Mike Reilly engineered a 91 yard drive with 1:36 left in the game to give the Eskimos a 22-18 lead. Not to be outdone Bo Levi Mitchell engineered a 8 play 69 yard drive with 35 seconds left as the Stamps regain a 25-22 lead. Key play in the drive was an unsportsmanlike penalty against Edmonton for a throat slash. Chris Milo had the opportunity to tie the game on the last play but his 47 yard field sailed wide.

Maas emphasized disciplined play leading up to tonight's game only to completely ignore his own dictates. He gets a well deserved unsportsmanlike, his player Edwards gets a stupid unsportsmanlike (everyone knows the throat slash is verboten) that extended the game-winning drive.
Jock Climie was pretty clear while speaking at half-time that he, while as a player, didn't want to see his coaches lose their cool. Coaches have to keep their sh*t together.

Four losses in a row for the Eskimos. They fought hard but does that stop what could become described as a free-fall? I think their early unbeaten string was deceptive and their rash of injuries only exacerbates that. Maybe we will see the Eskimos and Riders fighting for the cross-over.

Four straight losses sure looks good on Maas. His tirade was pathetic on a play that provided little evidence for an overturn. Just shows how successful his fishing expeditions have been, none bigger than the phantom call against the Lions.

Eskimos now 2-4 in against Western teams. Exact same divisional record as the Lions but of course who did their two divisional wins come against?

I have respect for Maas' football knowledge but that is it. He is a hot headed undisciplined jerk who sets a poor emotional example for his players, one who got a penalty for a throat slash gesture another got a penalty for taking off his helmet and throwing it in frustration while on the field of play.

How does a HC with Maas' lack of credibility discipline his players when he is so undisciplined himself?

There have been numerous instances of Maas having a meltdown on the sidelines; this is nothing new.

Idiot. He's carrying on post-game like the CFL imposed this 3-play rule yesterday. Did he complain before? Did we see Wally carrying on when we got (far more legitimately) hosed in Edmonton back in July (in fairness though, Wally doesn't have a headset to toss around )? If anything, I thought Maas could have had an issue with roughing the passer on the play, but not the decision to protect his own player. What if Reilly has headaches and dizzy spells today? He'll feel pretty foolish (if he doesn't already after destroying his headset on the correct call).

Then he brings up Reilly's "toughest in the league" award as if that somehow means he is resistant to mild traumatic brain injury or mitigates the effect of brain trauma. Sore loser....
