so, I found the stats for the top 25 players in total receivers yards as well as their YAC yards.

I calculated the YAC yards for each QB/TEAM(in BCs case)

I recorded the total yards for each QB/TEAM(in BCs case)

This is not purrfect as others have thrown the ball beside the top 10 QBs (not much though) and others have caught passes. (I don't know who all for how many yards, but I hope not much)

I subtracted YAC from total passing yards, then divided by numbers of games.

TM ...... YAC TOT less YAC games yppg
bc .. ..... 222 .. 1952 .. 1730 .. 6 .. 288
SASK .. 290 .. 1598 .. 1308 .. 5 .. 262
OTT .... 392 .. 1939 .. 1547 .. 6 .. 258
EDM .... 364 .. 1628 .. 1264 .. 5 .. 253
TOR .... 544 .. 2282 .. 1738 .. 7 .. 248
MTL .... 369 .. 1740 .. 1371 .. 6 .. 229
HAM .... 40 ... 1143 .. 1103 .. 5 .. 221
cgy ..... 421 .. 1832 .. 1411 .. 7 .. 202
WPG .... 509 .. 1438 .. 929 .. 5 .. 186

yppg - yards passed per game played.

first thing I notice is lions YAC yards pales in comparison to most of the rest.
second thing is that lions YPPG seems to be the best in league so far.

as for RAY's passing yards, not so great without the YAC yards

any value to this info?

I think they can be misleading. A receiver who runs a lot of seam routes or runs singlecoverage deep patterns should have high YAC while a possession receiver whose bread and butter is to settle into a spot between the layers might have low YAC average. I believe when the idea of YAC came out many associated it with a player who busts tackles and makes something big out of nothing.
