I was looking at Elimimian's stats and see that after a slow start coming off the Achilles injury he's quietly re-assumed his usual spot on top of the CFL tackle leader board. If he continues his pace of the past 6 games he stands a good chance of rewriting his own records. One thing that might hurt is that he no longer plays special teams.

In 2014 he registered 144 tackles, 8 of which were on special teams.

This year he recorded 36 tackles in the first 7 games, just over 5 per game. In the 6 games since then he's amassed 64 or nearly 11 per game. Sitting at an even 100 he'd need 45, average of 9 per game over the remaining 5, to surpass his 2014 number of 144. He'd need 37 defensive tackles to top the 136 DTs of '14.

You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.

He is a tackling machine.

Be nice if the D Line got more tackles. Although the scheme might funnel runners toward Solly, this fan thinks that our DL has not been as dynamic as one might hope.
