He draws all the wrong attention that the CFL doesn't need.

Tiger Cats say they haven't reached out and spoken to him, his agent or his family. Orridge was also quick to state via his Twitter feed that any headlines or newspaper accounts that may have made the CFL out to be willing to welcome Manziel, are erroneous.
Yes, million dollar arm on paper, 10 cent head on the field and running a negative balance in life. He needs to focus on getting his sh*t together and get on with his life in a positive manner.
The CFL doesn't need the aggravation nor does it need to become known as the rehab league.

Any time a big-name player flames out in the NFL, someone speculates on him coming to Canada. Manzeil has the talent to play football anywhere if he wanted to. He has shown that he would rather party than play football. He doesn't have to come to Canada for that.cromartie wrote:No, and stop asking.

This football fan thinks that Manziel's football talent has been hyped, that it is not that special.
Then there are the character issues --> deadly for a team, along with the player.
This fan sincerely hopes all CFL teams stay away from the meltdown, that is Manziel.
Manziel has to fix his life, save his life, not find an enabler, allowing him to continue with his bad habits.
Just IMO ...

Send him to Saskatchewan with the terms of his contract being he has to live in Regina all year round. That would be just like rehab wouldn't it?CardiacKid wrote:Tiger Cats say they haven't reached out and spoken to him, his agent or his family. You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.

Being in Regina gives me the DTs and I don't even drink.Hambone wrote:Send him to Saskatchewan with the terms of his contract being he has to live in Regina all year round.
