Suitor just showed the Stamps pass distribution as Blitz pointed out, the position of the CB's and how they never adjusted to those plays.
The question to Mark Washington is why?

The Lions will be lucky to draw over 20k their next home gamedpoe wrote:Worst effort I've ever seen at BC Place - unacceptable!
You have to be brain dead as a defensive coordinator to keep playing cloud coverage zone all game and never adjust. We either should have kept the corner up tight or inverted it and jumped the flat with the halfback or gone man coverage underneath. All Calgary did was throw to receivers and backs in the flat all night or throw bubble screens. Completely unacceptable.swervynmerv wrote:Suitor just showed the Stamps pass distribution as Blitz pointed out, the position of the CB's and how they never adjusted to those plays.

Levy Adcock has had a horrible game. McNeil hasn't moved anyone.
So now I get to watch the infamous Lulay scramble to his right and throw it out of bounds play....only seen that a half a million times it seems over the years.

I missed the BC @ Calgary OT game a few weeks ago, but maybe someone here can explain what the differences were?
What did BC do then and did not do tonight?
What did Calgary not do then and did tonight to dominate so convincingly?

What is with the Lions schedule? They didn't play at home for 37 days and now they have three consecutive games on the road in the East?
Sometimes in a 9 team league, the CFL and its scheduling can show how Mickey Mouse this league can be at times!
Tough to win back fans when you have huge gaps between home games!

True enough but when you have two gaps on your schedule where your team doesn't play a home game for 3 straight games its awfully tough to create interest a market with lots of choices already.aklawitter wrote:we got what we were asking for... summer games in vancouver have always been a tough drawswervynmerv wrote:What is with the Lions schedule? The Lions will be back home on Sept 9th vs MTL, after 2 road games Aug 25 @ OTT, and Aug 31st @ TOR.swervynmerv wrote:What is with the Lions schedule? They didn't play at home for 37 days and now they have three consecutive games on the road in the East?

I still think playing more games at home in the back 1/2 of the sked is better. They also managed to avoid playing at home with the Canucks playing at Rogers Arena at the same time. It's up to the Lions to make the most of their games on the road to build interest.

Exactly Bliltz. Lions show their smugness and lack of respect for Stamps by debuting Adcock this week when Johnson has bee solid. And O'Neill over Steward or even Vallancourt is a joke.Blitz wrote:You have to be brain dead as a defensive coordinator to keep playing cloud coverage zone all game and never adjust. Still not totally sold on Washington as Defensive Coordinator. He's better this year than last but the jury is still out on him.swervynmerv wrote:Suitor just showed the Stamps pass distribution as Blitz pointed out, the position of the CB's and how they never adjusted to those plays.
