Character come back win for our BC Lions...many needs to improve our game, penalties, turnovers, but hay I'll take the W, and we have two weeks to get our game right...Congratsss to the franchise for not packing it in at the half

There is no controversy at qb period! The future/present is Jennings. The kid was poised and his mobility and arm won this game for us! And Khari Jones did little in the way of 1st half support by not calling on the running game every so often to offset the pass rush and stacked d line. But Jennings was awesome tonight, looked like the whiz kid bombs away from last year

It's the new Wally: goes for 2 point converts early in games.CardiacKid wrote:Never would have thought a Wally Buono-led Lions team would have run more trick plays than a Chris Jones team.
Allowing more aggressive risk taking style on D.
Preaches be fast and aggressive and beat (up) the man in front of you. OK that's the old Wally but hey.

Lee gone for the season with a torn achillesCardiacKid wrote:Looked like his achilles popped....Maybe Steven Clarke?Rodu wrote:TJ Lee looks badly hurt, who is next up on the depth chart?
That's a tough break. He was playing at an all-star level and was the Lions' most effective blitzer from the secondary. Neither Steven Clarke nor Ryan Phillips can replace him but Phillips will likely be moved to Lee's position unless someone new is brought in.TheLionKing wrote:Lee gone for the season with a torn achillesCardiacKid wrote:Looked like his achilles popped....Maybe Steven Clarke?Rodu wrote:TJ Lee looks badly hurt, who is next up on the depth chart?
One option that might work with the current roster is to move Brandon Stewart to nickel, where he has played previously. Purifoy would move to Lee's boundary halfback position, which he played in training camp. Clarke would move to Stewart's field corner spot, which he played last year. Good thing the Lions have a bye week to figure it out.

Sounds like a good plan and Purifoy might be faster than Stewart as he sure seems to be near the ball making plays...so, maybe leave him where he is?B.C.FAN wrote:One option that might work with the current roster is to move Brandon Stewart to nickel, where he has played previously.
