Very sad news - wish Canada could help.
He was a beast in that 94 GC squishy35 - along with Chaytors and Doug Petersen - all-canadian D-line man-handled that supposedly oh so superior all-american O-line of the Stallions for much of that game; went on to help the Argos win the GC too.

Too bad Andrew Stewart got into trouble with the law in both the USA and Canada and was deported back to Jamaica.

In 1993, Stewart began playing in the Canadian Football League, signing first with the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1993 and playing six games for the team. In 1994, he was traded to the B.C. Lions where he played two seasons, winning a Grey Cup with the team and was defensive player of the game. He was inducted into the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
That does not sound right. There was actually a Grey Cup Defensive Player of the Game? I thought that individual Grey Cup award ended after the 1990 Grey Cup and after that there was only two individual awards, including the 1994 Grey Cup with Karl Anthony winning Most Valuable Player in a losing cause and Lui Passaglia winning Most Valuable Canadian honours.
