Sutton finishes the year with 1059yds on 180 carries (5.9 avg) to Harris's 1039 on 222 carries (4.7avg). Jerome Messam (163att-1006yds-6.2avg) is the only other 1000yd back this year.
As much as I would have liked Andrew to win the rushing title, I do not have a problem with Sutton winning it with a 5.9 yard rushing average. In fact, I am not sure you should be winning the league's rushing title with a 4.7 average.

To think, no one gained 1,000 yards within 16 games this year. In the days of the old 16 game CFL season with backs like Willie Burden, James Sykes, and Jimmy Edwards, that was almost unheard of.

Indeed, once you get past the 1000yd club there's a big drop-off to 4th best (Brandon Whitaker, Tor; 121att-636yds-5.3avg). Harris and Sutton co-led with four games of 100+ rushing yards; no one else had three. In fact, among the top 30 rushers in 2015 (and probably the whole league as the yardage total cutoff for that group is 155), there were only 14 100yd performances, and Lulay had one of those.

Harris's 222 carries were by far the most in 2015, followed by Sutton's 180 and JM's 163. There was a big drop-off after that to Wpg's Cameron Marshall with 134, although his Harris-like avg of 4.6 limited his total to 614.

Harris got the consolation prize of winning the yards from scrimmage title, although he seems to have benefitted at least somewhat from being the only player in the top ten of this category to have played the full 18 games on the sked.

Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Sensational game as TiCats win a seesaw battle with a last play FG.

Climie crediting pressure D by Cats.

Great game plan by Austin and his staff.

Kudos to Milanovich and his staff also.

Masoli cool. Credits TO D, says the Cats adjusted.

Reliable kicking gave HAM the edge. Waters had just returned from a second extended injury, and went 2/4 on FG. Medlock was 3/3 including a 55 yarder.
