Westerman for KR....lol.... Nice run actually as he made the right decision as to where to go.
Lulay needs that WR who's a burner who can get to the longer passes with that super last second burst of speed.
Burnham ain't that guy.
How are the Hawks doing... oh Dups has gone to Seattle.

Rintoul: This is the sort of game Ott would have frittered away a year ago. They're playing confident today.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Frickin defence. Just not capable of a 2 and out.

Ott drives into FG range again with the WIlliams catch and run.

Washimgton's defence picking up where it left off at the end of last season. Getting sliced and diced.

What's this talk about an aggressive defence ?
Another Ott major — from former Lion Ernest Jackson. 27-16 Ott after the convert.

Now we see it on the score board.
Lions need to get on fire fast.
EJackson TD.
Those who blamed last year on Burris are like those who blame last year on Kevin Glenn. These guys don't become bad overnight.

Washington somehow got the benefit of the doubt. His passive schemes won't get it done especially with that front four. Will be a long season with this unit and play calling.

Now the Lions are trying to force it downfield for two Incomplete passes... Not smart. It won't work. Lucky Penalty.
