women world cup effect lions ticket salea
Moderator: Team Captains
Just heard that BC place is sold out tonight for the USA game and when Canada went won there pool yesterday apparently Ticketmaster sold 8000 tickets were they are predicting a sell out for Sunday night , how do you think this will effect the ticket sales for the lions home opener against Sask , a lot of people will be spending money on this like when the canucks went to the final , could effect ticket sales for the whitecaps and lions.

I doubt if would have any impact.
It is mostly a different market than CFL fans that would be likely to attend the WWC. (Except for the very casual CFL follower).
This Sunday's match with Canada playing at BC Place has current ticket availability ranging from $75-108 range. The final on Sunday July 5th is already sold out (or close to it).

Might've been about that before the reno. Part of the reno was to replace old seats with wider seats. 1 or 2 seats were lost in just about every row of every section in the lower bowl.Qman wrote:

You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.
