The teams are set, who will win?
I'd put my money on Calgyra because I think the Stampeders are just better throughout the line up. but I`m hoping for an upset ... Go Tiger Cats

Expecting Calgary to win. Would not be dissappointed with either team winning....
I hope the CFL fans, especially you folks who've bought tickets, are the big winners with a solid, entertaining championship game. I DID go to the 2011 Grey Cup and it was THE BEST GAME I've EVER BEEN TO, from a lifetime experience point of view. I mean getting to see my home team win the championship game right before me and many fellow Lions fans? Couldn't beat it.
But honestly, it was not an amazing football game, IMO. Complete boring game? No of course not. All I'm saying is I've seen more exciting games from a football perspective than the 2011 Grey Cup. In fact the 2011 Vanier Cup, which I also watched in stadium, was a far better football game, IMO.
So, I hope you in stadium (and us too on TV) get to see a classic, exciting Grey Cup game..........

If Cgy wins it would mean thatrb wrote:Calgary is clearly the best team in the league this season, and for that reason I am cheering for the Stamps as I like the champ to be the team that truly deserves it.
we were eliminated by the team
who were eliminated by the team
who were eliminated by the team
who won the Grey Cup.
... which would probably be an accurate reflection of where our team as a whole sits on the CFL landscape in 2014.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
According to the Chinese zodiac, this is the Year of the Horse so therefore, it should help and bring good luck to the Calgary Stampeders.
Unfortunately, it didn't help out at all their NFL counterpart that also uses a horse in their logo, the Denver Broncos.

The Stamps have been the best all season, they have protected both Mitchell and Cornish and have Rick Stubler and Dave Dickenson...they will be TOUGH to beat...the good news for HAM is that Steinhauer has got their D playing well, even without a lot of pressure, so if Collaros gets hot they have a chance, especially with their S Ts...but I think HAM might still be a year away with Collaros...should be a good game.
I think the CGY wins, Huff retires and DD becomes HC in CGY.

That would be the best outcome. Calgary to win, Huf move upstairs and hire DD as head coach, finally putting an end to speculation about him coming back to coach the Lions.
Stamps can afford for a cylinder or two to go down to injury during the game, Hamilton not so much. Stamps depth and National talent allow them to park the Grey Cup in Calgary for a year. That said, I am with the group that wants Hamilton to win, keep it in the cat family.MexicoLionFan wrote:The Stamps have been the best all season, they have protected both Mitchell and Cornish and have Rick Stubler and Dave Dickenson...they will be TOUGH to beat...the good news for HAM is that Steinhauer has got their D playing well, even without a lot of pressure, so if Collaros gets hot they have a chance, especially with their S Ts...but I think HAM might still be a year away with Collaros...should be a good game.
