If Sunseri or Doege are part of the deal it could work out for both teams. Burris is neither team's future, and who's behind centre for Ottawa is kind of irrelevant by now anyway for this season, but he could help out the Riders for the rest of this season. Durant isn't going anywhere so neither Sunseri or Doege are likely to have much chance at being anything more than backups in Saskatchewan, and while neither has lit up the field so far I think they both have just as much potential as DeMarco.

Of course, it's not as if any qb traded at this point in the season is going to get on the field for a few games until they get a handle on things.

The whole trade scenario must be awkward for Joey Elliott, Ottawa's current third-string QB, whose only role in recent years seems to be to fill a roster spot when other QBs are injured, never to take the field.
