Benevides announced that Travis Lulay will get the start against Ottawa next week.
No surprise. It's been a long road back but this is the purrfect opportunity to get him up to speed. I hope he's healthy enough to do everything needed to win, including run and throw the deep ball.TheLionKing wrote:Benevides announced that Travis Lulay will get the start against Ottawa next week.

No surprise. Get ready for the all out blitz, Travis. Hopefully our pass protection is solid. Hopefully our passing attack is ready for the blitzing action. Hopefully our running game is productive.
Ottawa is not a bad team to be playing when we make this quarterback changeover.

IMO, Lulay has not had enough live action to be game ready to go for 60 minutes. So the Lions need a strong first half and hopefully a big enough lead to take Lulay out for a rest late in the game.
Addendum; Harris and Logan be ready to carry the rock.DanoT wrote:IMO, Lulay has not had enough live action to be game ready to go for 60 minutes. So the Lions need a strong first half and hopefully a big enough lead to take Lulay out for a rest late in the game.
