No guarantee for Kory just an opportunity to compete.
Wonder where they got that photo from. His original combine or some regional combine, this season? Doesn't matter, just curious (it looks like a recent photo, I'm guessing).....South Pender wrote:A little more on Kory Sheets. This is an interview on an Oakland radio station:

Quite frankly TLK it is not always even this in the NFL especially - "just an opportunity to compete" as they don't always give a player any real chance to compete.TheLionKing wrote:No guarantee for Kory just an opportunity to compete.
These guys who try the NFL from the CFL don't always get a decent shot in some teams especially if they have used up top draft picks in the same spot.
It is a dream for these US guys to play in the NFL but going back home is not a slam dunk. Sheets like Durant are my two least favourite players in the CFL not for talent but their attitude and arrogance.

So, if the Raiders cut him, do you think he'd prefer to play in BC due to our 'unofficial farming industry' ?

So how many doctors are there in Sask that would be willing to write Sheets a Medical Marijuana Card? My guess would be...enough to fill a stadium.notahomer wrote:http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=451516

Interesting story. What can we expect from the Riders if he bombs in Oakland (assuming this won't screw him up there at least for a tryout at TC)? I can't recall where we stand on CFL players doing marijuana. In the NFL, I think this might call for a short suspension.notahomer wrote:http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=451516

Ask Brenden Browner on that subject, although he is a repeat offender as IR.South Pender wrote:Interesting story. Is it just me or does it seem somewhat ironic that Sheets went to the Raiders which is almost the Riders, with the 'eh' though.
Entertainment value = an all time low
Good point regarding the spelling/culture of the Raiders/Riders. Guess maybe thats why he was three sheets to the wind...Rammer wrote:Ask Brenden Browner on that subject, although he is a repeat offender as IR.
