hello everyone! Sports & stuff football day is aug 11th from 1 -3.

lots of prizes and good deals! Including a trip to vegas for 2 people

My nephew & I will be heading over today from North Van. :yahoo:

Hope the Airshow traffic isn't too heavy on the freeway! :bang:

EDIT (10:35pm) Back home after a great day in Chilliwack that included another fantastic BC Lions Day thanks to Rick & all the folks at Sports & Stuff!! I got a couple of opportunities to chat with Arland Bruce & Tim Brown, two very humble and accommodating athletes. Khalif Mitchell's flight from T.O. was late but he very graciously stayed beyond the posted time to sign autographs for everyone who waited. I got skunked again on the door prizes, but that's not why I made the trip from North Van, is it? :rockin:

Sad to miss it but especially gutted to miss this one. When I heard Khalif was going to attend, I really wanted to take advantage of the chance to meet him. Despite the recent notoriety, he seems like a complex guy (in a good way) that would be a pleasure to meet and get to know. When he does hang up the cleats, I hope he continues to be active with the Lions and be a presence in BC.
