Howdy.

I've been a Lions fan for a while now, I recently got back into the CFL a couple years ago... I'm 18, favorite player is Carl Kidd. I like hockey, my team are the Canucks, and the Blazers and Rockets in the WHL. I also like lacrosse (Ravens) and the Seahawks in the NFL.

I hate sports like baseball and basketball.

I went to my first Lions game, in Calgary last year (30-7 win for the Leos) and it was awesome. I'll be going to many more in the future.

Hi everybody, sorry for reporting in late, I just woke up.
I am 30 years old , single and I was born and raised in Vancouver.

I have been watching the CFL since 1990. At the time I was a fan of the
Winnipeg Blue Bombers. I did not watch the Leos till 1991.

Tv exposure for the Leos in 1991 got me hooked with Doug Flutie.
Did not go to a game till 1992. Been a season ticket holder from 1993 till now.

My Favorite players have been Amod Field, Danny Barrett and the 2nd best running back for the Lions in my opinon Cory Philpot. Right now it is Jason Clermont.

Sorry I missed the 80's when the Lions were quite dominate.

I tape games when they are on tv althought I keep the ones the Lions win. I got games from 1992 till now.

The only problem I find is that the games at home that the Lions win are
mostly blacked out and CBC & TSN no longer repeat them at 12:00am
anymore.

It says bye.

I was getting tired of seeing that BBgirls name on this thread so I thought I would put my name here, which is a much better looking name. Wouldn't you know it I also grew up in Nanaimo. It is a good place to grow up and a good place to retire . . . but in between it can get a little sleepy. I am a Lions season ticket holder for 3 years. This year I sit in section 17. Sometimes I bring beer to the tailgate festival for my friends to enjoy and I can proudly say I was at the very first Lionbackers tailgate in June 2002.
I have also been in attendance when the Lions won the Grey Cup in 1994 and 2000.

You know, if I was a matchmaker, I think that the two of you should hook up together.

Of course this would mean that BBgirl would have to change her name, find seats relatively close to this bc49 guy, and would have to dump the "crazy drunk guy" she is with presently, but it is uncanny how both of you have had seasons tickets during the same period and both have come over from Nanaimo. Having something in common goes a long way to a strong relationship, but learn to be friends first and the rest will follow.

Hey everyone!!!
* Name's Antonia...but I answer to a lot of nics...
*Always been a big fan of the Leos and the CFL. There were really only 2 football fans in my family. My father was a bombers fan so watching games with him was always fun.
*Unfortunately, I am not a season ticket holder due to the fact that I'm never in vancouver in the summer ( up on the northern coast of beautiful Van Isle 8) ) Thank god for star choice so I can watch all the games. But I do make it to the ones from the end of Aug. on.
*From Surrey
