Do you think Milt Stegall will tie or break George Reed's touchdown record of 137 next week in BC. It's Milt's last chance for the record, as he is retiring after this season.
He has 136 TD's, so one to tie, two to break.

I'm not so sure Stegall will retire after this year. His play hasn't dropped off where he is not a dominant player in the CFL. He can still be very productive and hasn't had a career of serious injuries.
If Milt Stegall does break the record next week, will there be an on-field ceremony? If there is, then I think it's a good bonus to watch.
There have been several mini ceremonies in the past at BC Place over historic events. Such as when Lui Passaglia became #1 in CFL scoring in August 1990.

Not Stegall's last game. He has at least one other game after the Lions. Playoff game.Lions_Fan_4_Life wrote:Do you think Milt Stegall will tie or break George Reed's touchdown record of 137 next week in BC. It's Milt's last chance for the record, as he is retiring after this season.

The record is Regular Season only IIRC.

I think the secondary will do what it can to hold Stegall out of the endzone. Like Pringles record, Stegall's will be set against all teams that have played against him, but STILL, you don't want to be THE team the record was set against.
If the Bombers are in position for a home playoff game, they will do what they can to get that playoff game, that is the priority.
If that involves making Stegall the focal point, then it does.
If they aren't, then the point is to get out of BC healthy, and they can have some fun...
I've typed myself into a corner, someone else run with it.

Hopefully the defense doesn't turn all their attention to Stegall while Roberts and Armstrong run amok possibly.
