For any golfers or golf fans ...

I respect Nick Faldo for his strength of mind under pressure.  But I find he is very harsh in his public judgments of other golfers.

Nevertheless, he is interesting ...

I admire Tom Watson.  I really like Freddie Couples, for his natural play and easy going attitude.

In the first two rounds those three will be together.  Cool ...

Here is what Nick says:
Faldo is paired in the first two rounds with Fred Couples and five-time Open champion Tom Watson.

"I'm delighted with my draw," Faldo said. "If I'm feeling intense, I'll go and talk to Tom. If I want to feel relaxed, I'll talk to Freddie. That's a great threesome."

I was really pulling for Watson when he hung in there looking like he might snag another British Open but alas he did not. The Open is probably my favourite of the majors.........

What's with all the whining ? They're all pros, so suck it up and play.

Agree with all those statements BUT.... he was one of the 'Its too tough' whiners early in the week too. What I will give him credit for is he admits its been a challenging LOVE/HATE thing all week even between shots. Really glad Phil won and saw a family GROUP hug while they waited for the final group to finish and the engraver to finish working on the claret jug.......
