Hey peeps.... I want everyone's honest answer to the question "Will the Canucks make the playoffs?" I know most of you may be laughing at this inquiry but the reality is they are still very much in the hunt... If only they could start winning against the Northwest..... So what does everyone think? I for one have not thrown in the towel yet.....

I'm not counting them out, but I mean they have no offence what so ever.

With Columbe, or should I say When they had Columbe, he was an added offensive player, despite playing defense. IMO he and Edler would've made a great pairing in the long run.

Salo and Ohlund are fine, but need to take more risks.

Mitchell despite all the hype isn't turning out to be a great snag.

Krajicek and Bieksa are two D-Men that are doing OKAY, but Bieksa especially needs to pick up his game.
Tremblay is wow. This guy needs to stay with the big club.

The idea D for Vancouver would be:

Salo, Ohlund, Edler, Tremblay, Coulmbe and Bieksa.

That way you get your youth in some game action, as well as having Ohlund and Salo with veteran roles.

Our forwards are a diffrent story, Pyatt is the only forward really grabbing my attention.

The Canucks need a new backup, and give Luongo some nights off.

Not writing them off just yet, but if they have a crap game against Jovo tomorrow, you can bet that most people will have given up.

What everyohe said.

Until they can find the answer to some goal scoring fromthe farm, they aren't going to be a threat for a playoff run.

The way things are looking, a .500 record may very well get them in.

Welcome to the era of the salary cap, folks.

Not that I want to jinx him, but I just loves how well things are going for Burke in Anaheim.

Go Ducks.
Go Sharks
Go Sabres
Go Nashville
Go New Jersey
Go Carolina.

Just no room for the Canucks anyhow. Not this yr.

I see the Canucks finishing around 12th.

I agree 100%! I am sooooooooo happy when the Ducks do better than the Canucks, just so he can prove them wrong for firing him.
