Re: How to fix this mess?
Cromartie, it is worth mentioning it was David Braley who ate the contract of Claybrooks, not the new owner. I agree not ideal to fire another coach after 1 season, but tell me if the Lions not only lose last 4 games, but get blown out in all four what do you do? Three ulgy games in a row is too muc...

Re: How to fix this mess?
Another guy who needs to go is Chris Rainey. He is too old now and has lost a step. They need a younger and faster kick returner.

Re: How to fix this mess?
I don't think the mess can be corrected this season. In the offseason, they need to fire Campbell. This team looks like the team he had in Ottawa in his final year. He build the team and coaching staff and clearly not good enough. How can you get blown out by Calgary and the next game show no improv...

Was Campbell the Right hire
When Campbell was hired I felt the Lions went with the safe choice passing on guys like Lapolice. The Lions look like Ottawa did in Campbell's final year there. Many blamed their GM and losing Harris and not Campbell. But now it is pretty clear Campbell's Lions are no better than his Redblacks in hi...

Re: Lions at Bombers Oct. 23, 2021
I watched basically the whole game till the 3rd down with about a minute left to play. I know Winnipeg is excellent team, but Lions made it too easy for them. Lions are an embarrassment and next up Toronto. I don't think anyone on here thinks they will win. The question is will they get blown out ag...

Re: Lions at Bombers Oct. 23, 2021
Hi Everyone: Been a long time since I made a post on here, a few years. In watching the Lions recently, it is clear they are no better a team under Campbell than Claybrooks. The question is if Lions end up not winning another game this year or maybe 1 more and miss the playoffs, will Campbell surviv...

Re: COVID-19 : How it could impact Lions/CFL
I know the premier of Alberta was on board with waiving the 14 day Quarantine period, unlike BC. But in my view, no way Edmonton will be selected a Hub City. The NHL is not going to play their major tournament in a small Canadian city. If any Canadian city is selected it will be Toronto. As for the ...

If No Season will the CFL fold
I just read David Braley's comments. Here is the article that suggests that could happen, if there is no CFL season. He is not a fan of Hub City. He insists there must be fans in the stadiums, at least 5,000 or no CFL season. Have we seen our last game? If true, this would be very sad. Not impressed...

Re: BC Lions Free Agents Signings & Signings around the CFL
I like this signing and agree it is an upgrade, but this question was asked on 3 Down Nation: How can Lions afford him? Many think Lions are over the cap and I agree. This is a good signing, but I think before training camp, 1 or 2 vets will be cut for Lions must be close to cap if not over. Somethi...

Re: BC Lions Free Agents Signings & Signings around the CFL
Dave Naylor said this morning he would be surprised if Derrell Walker does not end up in BC, so that could be another signing today.

Re: BC Lions Free Agents Signings & Signings around the CFL
With all these DL signings it means Odell Willis likely is gone for sure. I wonder if anyone will sign him? He is done.

Re: BC Lions Free Agents Signings & Signings around the CFL
So far no Derrel Walker or Micah Johnson. Maybe neither is coming here for they wanted too much money. Neither has signed with anyone else. So both remain up in the air on who they will sign with.

BC Lions Free Agents Signings & Signings around the CFL
I am setting this up for tomorrow. I expect it to be a busy day for the Lions and other teams.

Gary Peters Re-signs
Lions signed 1 more of their impeding free agents late tonight: Lions have signed Gary Peters to an extension. #CFLFA @CFLonTSN Well that is one hole that is filled. Good signing. At least Hervey got 1 more guy signed before tomorrow. MOD EDIT - added the all-important hyphen to the heading.

Re: BC Lions Free Agent Rumours & Signings
Forgot about Newsome. So that leaves 3 spots open and I hope Willis is not resigned.
