2005. Defence and special teams are both improved. This year's defence would stop last year's CP better than last year's defence would stop this year's DD.

Pierce was 9-of 12 or 75 per cent tonight with the game on the line. On the season he's now 12 of 15, or 80 per cent. There's only one other quarterback who can put up those kind of numbers.

I had to vote for "others" because I read about the site in Lowell Ullrich article in The Province last year. How does that equate to being forced to do penitentiary service by Green Riders' fanatics? :?

Buck Pierce came from a legitimate program. This is a ridiculous statement. Hawai'i went 8-5 last year, won a bowl game, and beat Michigan State. Is Michigan State not a legit program? How about the other seven schools that lost to the Warriors? Had you said this about Hawai'i ten years ago, you mi...

I sympathize with the players and their aching bodies. For me, the real problem is that the offseason is just too long with seven months between games, eight months if there's no home playoff game. Hockey and basketball have an offseason of about four months. Baseball is five months. I watch televis...

I just can't believe that people picked Printers, especially after the rust and poor decision-making he showed last week. Sure, it was understandable given his long layoff, lack of game preparation and the fact his shoulder is only at 90% in his own estimation. He won the game (with a lot of help fr...

Only one Argo among those picks. Very unbiased of you, Steiner.

I'm not voting. I don't want to look past Hamilton. We saw last year that Danny Mac is still capable of a big game.

There's nothing wrong with asking. It's a normal part of negotiating, which should be done behind closed doors, not in public where it has the effect of embarrassing the employer.

Wright talks out both sides of his mouth. He says the BOG shouldn't breach confidences and discuss his contract negotiations in public, then he goes ahead and does it himself, listing his demands for new working conditions. The guy is making $400,000 a year. When Casey Printers or Jason Medlock yap ...

I voted No because he's done a great job with the business side, but I think Wright needs to keep his mouth shut about his disagreements with the BOG and the lack of respect he feels. He seems to be the one who's making his contract status a public issue.

I watched him get instructions from Wally before the kick. Wally gave him the option to use his judgment about returning it. He just used very bad judgment. He'll probably never make that mistake again. I wouldn't cut him over that alone but because he hasn't done anything positive on offence or spe...

I've always liked ex-Lion Jason Kralt. He's a hard worker, good special-teamer and solid tackler. He started at MLB for the Lions in the 2000 playoffs but broke his leg in the WSF, and could only watch the Grey Cup on crutches. It's good to see him finally get a chance to start again in Ottawa.

I'm sure he's just doing what he's told but the announcing of the starting lineups and on-field activities can be done more professionally by someone in a booth. The rallying of the crowd can be done more effectively (and less cheesily) through a simple scoreboard announcement such as "Make som...
