Re: 2016 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions
Speaking of marketing...or lack of marketing ........... With Fanfest scheduled for Saturday evening June 4, why hasn't someone associated with the Lions thought of promoting a hotel package for anyone thinking of attending from the Lower Mainland? Or...perhaps a fan bus package that would include t...

Re: Rest in Peace ShiZiMi
Lloyd was plainly and simply, a good guy. I've had the pleasure of getting to know Lloyd and enjoy his company at various Grey Cups, as well as soak in his vast football knowledge over the past 11 years. I last saw Lloyd and Cheryl this past June in Kamloops and although he was battling his illness,...

Re: New BC Lions Jersey for 2016
I take it no one likes Skulsky around here. Apparently Skulsky and Buono run authoritarian dictatorships and everybody else on staff are merely puppets and window dressing not allowed to participate or provide input into decisions or strategies. Sounds like our former Prime Minister. Good One, Lion...

Re: 2011 draft.
I forever shake my head on why Iannuzzi continues to choose to play in the CFL. A Harvard grad could put his intelligence to good use & make far more $$$ in the business world than risk scrambling his brains (as he has done twice before) as a backup wide receiver / punt returner.

Re: Ottawa RedBlacks
As far as Ernest Jackson leaving via free agency - that is part of Wally's belief that American (or "International") receivers / running backs are a dime a dozen, so, why pay $$$ to keep established players?
The gospel according to Wally.

Re: Lions @ Stampeders -- Post Game Stats and Comments
B.C. Lions fans...welcome to the Johnathon Jennings era! :good: For the first time in a long time, we saw a QB who was no doubt, a bit of a gunslinger - but was able to throw the ball down the field and actually provide some exciting moments. The Lions offense throughout the season has been unwatcha...

Re: RedBlacks @ Lions -- Post Game Stats and Comments
The Lions organization from the top down is flatter than a pancake, and wholesale changes are required not only for the short term direction of this current team, but also for the long term viability of the franchise. There are so many links in the chain broken right now, it's hard to know where to ...

Re: Sekeres: Tedford's job on the line
With the Lions win over the Als, does this "solve" the HC issue...or simply mask the problems for another week? The Lions offense is (*ahem*) a work in progress, but at least the defense got a boost thanks to the inefficiencies of Tanner Marsh. For once, another teams offensive game plan l...

I have always enjoyed reading LU's reports as well as listening to him on TSN1040. Best of luck and enjoy your retirement, Lowell.

Re: Travis Lulay and the long ball
Right now, Travis looks like a pitcher who has no command of the strike zone. He overthrows / underthrows receivers and much like a struggling pitcher, is not quite sure where the tosses will end up.

I attended Saturday afternoon's walkthrough as well as today's Fanfest and crowds were definitely below other Fanfest's I've attended.

Re: Montreal vs lions semi final ticket count
Montreal hasn't sold out one game all year, and that's with separate Ben Cahoon and Anthony Calvillo jersey retirement days.
