Re: OC Chapdelaine feels the heat - Mike Beamish, Lowell Ull
This is top-secret, but one of my inside sources told me that in the off-season Buono is considering something radical: replacing himself and coordinators with a website to coach the team. Will we use hand signals to direct the players, or do we get cool clickable icons which will relay instruction...

Re: OC Chapdelaine feels the heat - Mike Beamish, Lowell Ull
“If you make mistakes on your fundamental plays, you have to think: What’s going to happen if I introduce something new?” Counterpoint: Do you think possibly your players are sick and tired of the same old plays that aren't working, therefore are making mistakes? Generally speaking, people get tire...

Re: Beleagured Offensive Coordinator
Chapdelaine 2) is going through hand signal withdrawal, with the new wireless communication system with the quarterback...understanding is needed. I think you've hit the nail on the head here... perhaps he's using the wireless comm to describe his hand signals! "Nonono, I said all finge...

Re: A trip to the dark side... Riderville country
Well, the bright side of having a Riders shirt means I have something to wear while working on the car... no need to get a good shirt dirty anymore!

Re: A trip to the dark side... Riderville country
I forgot to mention the "Rider Burger" being advertised in the Houston Pizza restaurant in Medicine Hat, Alberta... a little odd, but since the franchise HQ is in Regina, I guess that's their justification.
I didn't ask if it was $13...

A trip to the dark side... Riderville country
We just came back from a family vacation to Saskatchewan (and Alberta), and I thought I'd share what I observed from a football perspective (I'll spare you the details on the scenery, etc - which actually is quite nice in the Qu'Appelle Valley area!). We didn't get to attend a game - schedules didn'...

Re: May 3rd - D-D-D-Day
Alot of good memories under the dome. My first lions game in 2003 against montreal, 2005 grey cup, 2006 west final. My favourite was the 2004 west final, it was only my second lions game. Nothing else like 60,000 lions fans makin noise under the dome. What are all your favourite memories under the ...

Great article on Gene Kiniski
Haven't seen any other mention here of Kiniski's passing, thought this article about him was great - a heckuva guy.

Re: Lions release Buck Pierce
Lots of comments and praise here that have been said by the likes of Toppy Vann and SammyGreene, I can't add anything as good as what they've said already so I'll just say: Good luck, Buck! That gutsy game against SK last year was one of my favourites, I hope to see you on a CFL team again soon. Tha...

Re: Tiger Woods Speaks Out and Apologizes ...
Well, I figure it's only appropriate that Tiger hold a press conference... let's find out what's new in the *other* Olympics (the Tiger 2-person Skeleton! The Bob-up-n-down-sled! Couples Ice-Dancing-and-other-stuff...)! Which I bet are also partially sponsored by Sleep Country mattresses
