Re: Why does Swaggerville frustrate some fans/teams?
No, I haven't heard that this season either. But, I think I remember something about some kind of moniker in the preseason. I'll try and track it down. Wasn't anything too cocky and obviously quickly faded away due to Frank's injury and the lack of success in the win/loss column. They called themse...

Re: Why does Swaggerville frustrate some fans/teams?
I haven't heard lockdown U this season from a DB, have you? Yeah, I've heard Phillips says it on TSN a couple times....in between him griping about not being in the Top 50 players when the cam is on him.....made my head shake. Swaggerville is just a moniker too, it's not like they call themselves &...

Re: Why does Swaggerville frustrate some fans/teams?
Sort of like a 2-6 team DB's using the term "Lockdown U" coming off back to back losing seasonsbut coming off a 4 - 14 season it's more of a "show me what you guys can do over the long haul" situation.

Re: Vets being cut around the league
Luc Mullinder released by the Als 2 weeks after being traded from Saskatchewan. I would love to see him on the Lions. He is head and shoulders above Mayne in the talent pool and is also a NI. Word on twitter is that the Ticats and Stamps are interested Edit: TiCats have signed him to a 2 year deal

Re: Lions Receiving Corps ...
Binder was cut because of 2 reasons.....he ran poor routes and he couldn't catch. When we saw him in Kamloops, it was very clear he wouldn't make the team. Looked like he was a deer in the headlights, but a really slow footed deer. Akeem Foster has come a loooong way since that TC last season. The c...

Re: Leos Win Silences Buono-Bashing Bloggers
All this win does, against a depleted Eskimoes squad, is simply give Pasquale, Chap and Benevides a 2 week pass. No one is happier that we won than the fans and bloggers. We have been through this "rebuild" for 3 years now and it's becoming rather tiresome. I'm sure both Beamish and LU are...

Great game tonight.
The only down side is that I think we have seen the last of Paris Jackson in a Lions uniform.

Re: Greg Marshall and Doug Berry fired
Suitor made a good point today that he didn't think that Marshall should have been fired, but more likely they told Marshall to fire Berry and he said no. Leaving the Riders no choice, even though they'll pay him for 3 more years. Can't believe Richie Hall escaped the carnage, but he is a Grandpa Mi...

I almost have Chaps signals down after 2 practices of doing nothing other than watching them....I can only imagine what its like for other teams spotters Why are we the only team in professional football that still uses hand signals?
