Re: Wally HC/ GM Again
I'm ok with Wally on the sidelines. Let's be real here. It's not like Tedford did anything that couldn't be done by someone with half his experience and salary. His schemes were boring and he quite frankly looked bored on the sidelines. What I won't be ok with is the two or three victories Wally wil...

Re: Biggie wins MODP
How about championship rings now? This is the 2014 Calgary Stampeders Grey Grey ring and I'd say for the first time, a Chinese character appears and the word for horse is etched on the ring: http://www.customchampionshiprings.com/images/products/455/medium/2014-calgary-stampeders-the-102nd-grey-cup...

Re: KCU Vanier Cup Preview - UBC v. Montreal
Very proud of my alma mater today! Well done T-Birds!!! Oh, I didn't know you were a UBC alumni. Will you buy a lot of souvenirs now from the UBC bookstore? And given the fact that it was not a blowout and that Montreal fought back to tie the game....did you almost suffer a heart attack again like ...

Re: Biggie wins MODP
I definitely prefer the old trophies. The new plaques don't honour the history of everyone who previously won it. The new ones actually look cheap. I understand it's about what they represent but all these things add up when it comes to the overall presentation of the CFL. Couple these trophies with...

Re: Biggie wins MODP
I can't be the only one that thinks the trophies look astonishingly lame. They look like participation plaques.

Re: Wally Buono won't commit to Jeff Tedford for 2016
I personally have no issue if Wally comes back to the sidelines. His game management towards the end of his career kind of stunk but he's where the buck stops so why not? It honestly can't be any worst than MB or Jeff Tedford. Can it?

Re: Wally Buono won't commit to Jeff Tedford for 2016
Sounds like Tedford didn't conduct any player exit interviews as reported by TSN 1040 in an interview with Lowell Ulrich. That's not a sign of a coach coming back. Lots of talk that Wally will be the coach on the sidelines next year.

Re: Biggie wins MODP
I love everything Biggie does both on and off the field. He never quits and his motor is always running. With that being said, I have to say that it used to be the case that the MODP was a dominant force whenever he was on the field. I remember the days of Joe Montford, Cam Wake, and even last year ...

Re: Tragedy strikes the Flutie family
Horrible news. We often underestimate the physical impact the death of someone else has. As someone with two elderly parents, I worry sometimes how one will adjust when the other passes. A few months ago my cousin lost his youngest daughter in a terrible accident. When he gave the tragic news to his...

Re: Remembrance disgrace
I don't think any of the excuses attempted here are valid. The team should be very socially responsible and should have made arrangements around this. This. For a team that makes a point of saluting the veterans the last home game of every season, it is disappointing that they did not arrange pract...

Re: BC Lions 2015 Player Awards
Bighill is having a great year, as did Elimimian last year, but having a defensive player as the Lions' MOP is an indictment of the offence. Maybe sometimes but not always. Can't remember who the Lions MOP candidates were when Cam Wake was here but would him being nominated MOP be an indictment of ...
