Re: Lions fans at Commonwelth October 17th.
I was telling my brother-in-law only last Thanksgiving weekend while fishing, the Eskimos organization will not even let us practice on the field of Commonwealth Stadium, and only then play there game time. Talk about skewed in their favor, as well as the whale of noise their fans can make game day...

Re: Lions fans at Commonwelth October 17th.
Commonwealth is not bad for that. I wear my colours to every game no matter what. You have to expect a little banter back and forth. I have had one bad experience there, and there are fans of other teams that can say the same about BC Place. Doesn't mean it's "bad for that". It's ridiculou...

Re: Edmonton brings back Maurer
A large difference is you can't pin the tail on the Lions player, why, because it is done maybe three times a season, whereas Maurer did it three times a game. It was used not only to give a D a rest, it was used to slow down the other teams momentum. As a fan sitting in the stands, it bored the he...

Re: Edmonton brings back Maurer
Yeah it is a crappy label...he's doing what he's told to do. Some fans seem to think it's part of his character, and IMO that's not a fair assesment. And as I said, every team in the league pulls that stuff. I will concede the Eskimos did seem to abuse it a couple of years ago, but thats eems to hav...

Re: Edmonton brings back Maurer
Jesus, like he's the only player in the league to do it, or to be told to do it. Every team does it...including...wait for it now.....the Lions! Please inform me as to whom that designated injury is on the Lions? I never said they had a "guy", I said every team does it, and come o...

Re: Edmonton brings back Maurer
Thing is he was a pretty a decent utility player too, including the top canadian in the Grey Cup game in 2005.

Re: I have finally had it!
I use to think Saskatchewan fans were something special. Support their team thick and thin etc etc. But their seething hatred for all things not-Rider related is becoming a little unbearable. With this latest beer can instance they have 180'ed this into Wally's fault for not have control of his tea...

Re: I have finally had it!
It is immensely troublesome when it appears that the media seems to condone such actions. I haven't heard or seen it first hand but this makes two posters who have made comments along these lines. If it is true and as I have commented elsewhere, this issue runs deeper than a few intoxicated fans. I...

Re: It's official, Roberts is a Lion and Smith is a Bomber
Great post JohnHenry! Don't be surprised if Buono has lost his marbles as he is accumulating quite a rap sheet of gaffs, and erroneous behavior happening over the four years. He lurches from a bad situation making it worse the follow week, making one irrational move after the other. I think he has ...

I don't get this deal either, but lets wait and hear all the details before we make statements like Fateri was right when he said Buono had lost it.

Blitz, I didn't come here to cause havoc for you...I countered your comments. You don't agree fine, but saying go back to your own site? Aren't you like 50 or something? Grow up!! I came here and made some valid points that the players themselves are just as much to blame for the inconsistencies as ...

Re: And The Answer To The Question Is...
Yeah, I only post here from time to time...I am running another site, and writing for another, so I really don't have a lot of time to spend here. But, every time I do there is a new thread describing how bad Chapdelaine is, and it gets old. Sorry if I have the "gut" to say so and just don...

Re: And The Answer To The Question Is...
..."man up"... I stand by my words Toppy, and I'll "man-up" to you any day of the week. 8) The fact remains from the day that Chapdelaine (that's his real name, not "The Chap") was re-hired here he has been accused of dastardly deeds on this board from th...

Re: And The Answer To The Question Is...
The question is "Who Is Really Coordinating Our Offence" a) Dan Dorazio (the offensive coordinator b) Steve Kruck (last season's offensive coordinator and play caller c) Chuck McMann (running backs coach) d) Jaques Chapdelaine (receivers coach, this season's play caller) The answer is d) ...
