Re: Phase 2 to come after Christmas - Wally

Man, all this crap about Banks getting the boot is killing me... I mean, his athleticism and ball skills are perhaps the best in the league in terms of halfbacks (Chris Thompson in Ham. and Jason Goss in Edm. could argue this point), but i mean c'mon.. Banks is a premier short side halfback in this...

Re: Phase 2 to come after Christmas - Wally

Hello everyone this is Dante Marsh and I was just curious about how many people on this site actually played football at a high level? Major college football or professional football. Re: Phase 2 to come after Christmas - Wally

I highly doubt that Jarius Jackson will be traded especially with reports that Buck Pierce is interested in trying out the NFL. Jackson might inherit the starting job by default.

Re: Riders Land Clermont - Canwest News Services

Might be time to change the signature Phil! I have a strong arm , but Regina to Sec 17 in BC Place is a stretch. Thanks for 7 years of support and insight, except Blitz... I'm kidding....sort of. Great work with the site and an invaluable place for fans to talk shop. It was a pleasure being a Lion....

Re: David Stern Regrets Vancouver Expansion in the 90's...

"I wish we hadn't had the Vancouver experience," Stern replied. "Great city, and we disappointed them, and we disappointed ourselves." Yes. Not allowing the new franchises to have the first pick in the draft for the first few years was a colossal ripoff. I won't miss the ignoran...

Jay Janower is a joke. Ever see him on the weekends with Robin Stickley ?They're purrfect for each other. One thinks he knows it all and the other doesn't know a thing about sports.

Re: TSN College Bowl Schedule

With the exception of a couple every one of those bowls are named after a sponsor. Missed the days of the Cotton Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl etc. Guess it's a sign of the times.
