Re: Training camp 2024
Marty Hastings of Kamloops TV station CFJC has some fun interviewing Lions players about 50 Cent, the City of Kamloops and newcomers who have stood out to them in camp. Among rookies receiving praise from veterans are DT Jonah Tavai, WR Stanley Berryhill, DB Jordan Perryman and LB Ayinde Eley. https...

Re: Training camp 2024
I'm sure BCF will chime in. From what I saw Joseph just didn't stand out in any way. He looked like just another guy out there who wasn't doing anything to push himself up the depth chart beyond getting 3rd unit reps. They were going to have a hard time finding a PR spot for him. Prior to his relea...

Re: Training camp 2024
The Lions donned pads Tuesday morning and took to the field at Hillside Stadium for the second last time this year. Michael Couture, who has been limited for the past 10 days, was dressed but didn't participate. Tyler Packer took first-team reps at centre. Manny Rugamba sat out on defence and spent ...

Re: Concert Kick-Off for June 15 opener to be announced Monday!
Here is the reaction of players to the announcement. They didn’t need to hear 50 Cent’s name, just a bit of his music.

Re: Training camp 2024
Monday's practice featured a lot of team play, including no-huddle, as the offence continued to open up the playbook. Unofficially, Vernon Adams completed 11 of 16 passes, including the final 7 in a row. One of those was a TD pass to Alex Hollins on a deep post pattern behind rookie cornerback Jorda...

Re: Concert Kick-Off for June 15 opener to be announced Monday!
Lions players were excited when practice was halted for the announcement, which was followed by the playing of one of his songs on the speakers at Hillside Stadium. None of us in the stands seemed to know who it was until we asked.

Re: Training camp 2024
The reaction among practice regulars today to the decision to keep Brice over Prukop was pure joy. Brice has earned his spot. Some suggested he should be No. 2 ahead of Dolegala, but I don't expect that to happen.

Re: Training camp 2024
The Lions still have 14 offensive linemen and 15 defensive linemen on the roster but today’s cuts seem to clarify other position groups. The only rookie linebackers remaining on the roster are Ayinde Eley and national draft pick Terrence Ganyi. The only rookie American defensive backs are CB Jordan ...

Re: Training camp 2024
Rookie CB Jordan Perryman seems to be the biggest beneficiary of today’s roster cuts. He’s taking first-team reps Monday in place of released rookie Tyon Davis. There are no other changes in the first-team offence and defence. Alex Hollins is back at WR after sitting out last week.

Re: Which helmet decal do you prefer for the Lions?
Isn't the current version the preferred version of Mrs. Doman? Amar no doubt knows full well "Happy Wife, Happy Life". What makes Mrs. Doman happy makes Amar happy. And what makes Amar happy works for me. Lol. I hate putting fashion over function. The gun metals looked nice but the...

Re: Training camp 2024
Checkdowns are always open. QBs in camp have rarely targeted them. They’re taught to go through their progressions in order. Prukop tried to check down several times in the game but he missed his receivers. He has been struggling with accuracy in camp. Brice has been better overall lately with the t...

Re: Which helmet decal do you prefer for the Lions?
The new uniforms are a disaster all around, with dark orange numbers on black jerseys and no piping to distinguish them. From a distance you can't tell number 76 from 78, 66 from 69, 86 from 88 or 89, etc. The dark orange BC on black helmets is almost as bad, and has no design appeal.
