Fantuz Flakes

WOW!! I didnt think it was possible but I am now beyond sick and tired of the marketing of this football club! I was reading in the Sun this morning that Fantuz Flakes are now available throughout western Canada. Ok I get it, the Riders have a huge following because so many people who grew up in the...

Re: Calgary 48 - BC 35 Post Game Stat and Comments

I As I have said a great number of times, I think Hufnagel, Trestman and the Austin/Miller combo in Regina have raised the bar of coaching in this league . What used to work for Buono doesn't work anymore. And he hasn't seen it yet. He still thinks Chapdelaine, Dorazio and Benevides (and himself) c...

Re: Absoluteley Disgusted

I grew up in North Van, 2 years ago I moved to Toronto. For the past two season's I have stayed up late into the early hours of the morning to watch and support the Lions. I have driven to Hamilton, and Montreal to watch this team play in person. Last thanksgiving, my father in law surprised me when...

Re: Game Day Thread - Lions at Riders, August 12, 2010

I honestly think Chap was kept because it was a short week, I really can't see him making it to next week. 2007 Edmonton O coordinator, Edmonton fails to make the playoffs and he is fired. 2008 Back with the Lions Offense is terrible, 2009 offense struggles some more, 2010.........we all know the st...

Re: Game Day Thread - Lions at Riders, August 12, 2010

FACT this team is just terrible!!!!!! Expect a worse season record than the 1992 team that went 3-15. I predict 2-16, with the 2nd and only win coming against Edmonton. I hope Crappy Chappy gets the axe tomorrow. I don't know how much more I can watch!!! :puke: :puke:

Re: The Ball...

You are right about how the stripes were stitched on in the 2006 season but because so many players complained about the league when back to painted on stripes in the 2007 season moving forward. Plus I really don't think that would have anything to with the Lions inability to move the ball.

Re: Game Day Thread - Lions @ Argos

Time for a long clock killing drive. The crowds really into now, very loud at the Rogers Centre right now. Humidity is also really thick, could play a factor.

Re: Game Day Thread - Lions @ Argos

Are you surprised? He is not good enough to be a starter in this league. Three games and change and you can figure that out definitively? Even watching him last year on special teams I could tell, every team picks on him, they must be seeing something on film. But from what I have seen over the pas...

Re: Game Day Thread - Lions @ Argos

Argos have made some very good adjustments a D at halftime, Lions O has been kept off the scoreboard so far this half and really don't have much to show for. Great a silly late hit penalty. If you let a team like Toronto stick around long enough they just might start to think they can beat you!

Re: Game Day Thread - Lions @ Argos

That drive was just way to easy for the Argos, the penalty didn't help but Toronto moved down the field much to early.

Re: Game Day Thread - Lions @ Argos

If you guys thought attendance was a problem at Empire field this year, the Argos have just over 19000 out for tonight's game. Looks like Mr. Braley has some work to do out here.

That is a very good point! I haven't seen the d this aggressive in a few years. Now why can't they play this type of defense against Ricky Ray, and not that zone crap!
