Re: Damon Allen To Retire
Longest Pass Completion 1) 109 yards (tied with 2 others) - Damon Allen to Alfred Jackson on August 21, 2002 as BC Lions When I want to reflect positively on DA, this will be a play/game that will come to mind first. The Lions were down and and out one play prior to this, not only did we snuff out ...

Re: 2016 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions
I really think Empire hurt the momentum the Lions had with 33,000 averages. We should be able to get back there but its going to be a lot of hard work that they should've started before they moved back into BC Place. Glad they're on it now though and really need to get this attendance back to the 30...

Re: Official NFL Thread: 2013-2014 Season
I think it would completely fail even worse in Vancouver. There's no reason to think that with their 25-38,000 paid attendance in Toronto that we'd do any better here in Vancouver. I think you would see people stick up for the Lions and not want them to be snuffed out by the Seahawks and the myth th...

Re: Riders vs. Lions, October 4th - Attendance/Seating
Just an update on the attendance looking at Ticketmaster again. 2 upper bowl sections are soldout now in the cheaper sections. Seems like the new sections they have opened up are about 40% filled I would say given whats available on the site. Its going to be a rockin' there tonight. Seems to sell mo...

Re: Riders vs. Lions, October 4th - Attendance/Seating
Yeah but I been to two western finals in the last decade that were over 50,000. The 2004 Western Final had more people than the new configuration currently can hold, so does that not count? The difference between the numbers last year and this year is the numbers are selling a lot faster this year. ...

Re: Riders vs. Lions, October 4th - Attendance/Seating
A huge update. Nearly the entire lower half of each upper bowl section is soldout with maybe half of each section available except for now another section nearly soldout in the upper bowl bringing the mostly sold sections in the upper bowl to 2. This is gonna be a packed game. They might surpass the...

I'm still rocking my Reebok 2004 Black Jersey from the Western Final, this is looking like a mighty good replacement.

Re: Riders vs. Lions, October 4th - Attendance/Seating
Are we sure that the current configuration has 40k seats? Or would they have to open things up some more? Not sure if there's enough lead time for the logistics this would entail; they would have to act quickly. I believe they already have opened up new sections, sjroc. They would be foolish to cap...

Re: Bombers vs. Lions Game Day Thread
I remember when it was almost a sin to bring in the backup QB.
Never would've predicted the depth in QB's in the CFL this year.

Re: Riders vs. Lions, October 4th - Attendance/Seating
Chris Cuthbert confirming my expectations as they were expecting 40,000 before this killer game.
This game could end up being for sole possession of first place now and the ticket sales could start really coming through over the weekend into next week.

Re: Riders vs. Lions, October 4th - Attendance/Seating
yeah looking at it today and the upper bowl on the one side there looks about 25-50% full and one section is now 75% sold or so. The entire lower bowl is single seats. I know that the lower bowl was reduced from about 29,000 to around 27,000 according to BC place website although they don't give an ...

Re: Ticket Prices / Lions' Marketing
Actually isn't that the early 2000's BC Lions sellout logic? We used to close off the upper bowl LONG before the Whitecaps did. Its kind of sad to see after all the progress we made that we have to go back to that, kind of sucks. We were getting crowds in the mid 30,000's at the old BC Place. Its so...

Re: Ti-Cats vs. Lions Game Thread
Lulay had the game we needed from him. Our defence and O lines were much better this game. Really good sign stopping a hot Hamilton club, hottest in the league until tonight. 30,564 in attendance. Quite an amazing crowd for a long weekend game against Hamilton outdrawing the Calgary game. Look for a...
