Re: 2011 Grey Cup Halftime Show....

I'll tell you what I want to see at halftime:

CFL Mascot Football...East vs. West...in a steel cage. Complete with Laser Lights.

Re: Empire seating question

I'm not sure how how they go, but I'm in row JJ, and there's at least 6 rows behind me.

As for sightline: mid section or higher. In the corner your view might not be too bad, but you will be exposed to rain if the weather calls for it (bring a jacket).

Re: Danny Maciocia an OC in BC?

The Lions offence is horrible right now. We can't block, can't run, can't throw. We have no swagger, no confidence, and as such no results. I have never been a fan of Jacques. So, whether it's mid season, or this off-season, I put forward a name of a Grey Cup champion, experienced in the CFL game, w...

Re: Defence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the pressure from the blitz. I liked the tackling. I liked how for the most part the players were in the right place to make the play. I'm excited to see what kinds of schemes Rich Stubler hasn't shown yet. This is going to be great. :yahoo:

So, what 5 figure salary would he be worth? 65K? 75K? 85K?

Re: Mallett signs with Philly Eagles

You can't hope to find a Smith/Logan/Mallett every year. I wish that the CFL team supplying the player could be compensated financially if he is to sign south of the border. Kind of like the transfer system in soccer? Sounds good to me. Why shouldn't CFL teams be compensated for losing players in t...

Re: Tom Brady blows off Suzy Kolber on MNF

Haven't you ever been in BC Place when everyone is screaming? It's next to impossible to hear what the person next to you is saying. It's the same thing in QWEST Field in Seattle. I've never been to Gillette Stadium, but again, I'd imagine it's the same thing. He gave her the sound bite, and moved o...

Re: Official Game Day Thread: Lions at Regina

What concerns me after Game 1? 1) The O-Line needs to step up. 2) The injuries we sustained throughout the game, all on Offense if I remember correctly. 3) Paul McCallum's consistency and execution. True, nobody is purrfect. But that's 2 bad games in a row now. 4) How is it that in a game where weat...
