Re: Lions' receivers

First I've heard of that. Could you provide said list please? Your baiting me into trouble. I can think of 5 or 6 off the top. Alphabetical or chronological would be best but safe to say the one player Rick Campbell had the least interest in coaching and All Praise be his Name for that was DC89. So...

Re: Lions' receivers

Rick Campbell is the coach and is also the Co-GM. He has all the authority he needs to field the team he wants to field working in tandem with McEvoy who provides a lot of capology input while also handling the bulk of contract negotiatireqons. Campbell has been a somewhat controversial coach regar...

Re: Lions' receivers

Messed this up but please bear with me as I don't think I can redo it. You didn't mess up the reply. Looks easy to follow. I might mess up my own reply however. Lol. Since before free agency DC you seem fixated on unnecessarily adding some other veteran receiver. Correct, although I feel the "...

Re: CFL News re: TC's 2024- Not BC Lions

Hope they don't try all 4 games on the same day again. One a day is far more preferable imo. Looked like a decent turnout in Montreal. Small gatherings were closer to reality for Edmonton and Calgary. It's almost if they are saying lets get it over fast. Used to be games were scheduled for Tuesday /...

Re: Lions' receivers

I like Terry Williams and he does deserve a shot to play. He brings both speed and versatility to the lineup. I'm sure he will run good routes. Also takes a pounding as a returner. It's not a good plan to have him do both jobs on a regular basis imo. Maybe Mizzell? Also haven't seen enough yet to al...

Re: CFL News re: TC's 2024- Not BC Lions

Bo Levi looking good as is Tim White. Could be a 100 reception year.

Lots to like about Hamilton.

Re: CFL News re: TC's 2024- Not BC Lions

Impressive National depth theoretically at RT for the Elks as Hunter Stewart starts ahead of Shane Richards tomorrow with Brett Boyko not dressing. All high picks in their draft years. Odds are good one works out. Credit to Geroy for his work.

Re: Training camp 2024

Whoever was the one to suggest Kamloops as host to Lions training camp had a great idea. Good for the team and good for the community. Win / win and nice to see people having fun.

Nice the weather has been good this year for those in attendance.

Re: CFL News re: TC's 2024- Not BC Lions

I could see Nick Arbuckle as one who would be a good trail blazer for the Guardian Caps and don't see how they would hamper QB play the way they might a receiver although reality is probably almost zero performance consequence for all. At first glance for me they made the players look shorter. Possi...

Re: Training camp 2024

B.C. secondary will be one of the best in the league. Peters, Sayles, Evans will literally be hard to beat with good options for the other two spots. They won't need to go National but maybe can if Bagayogo can win the corner job. Kent sounds like a solid player that will stick as well. For the O, I...

Re: CFL News re: TC's 2024- Not BC Lions

Good signing by the Argos adding Nick Arbuckle imo. Smart, experienced guy who knows how to progress through his reads plus the good relationship with Dinwiddie will help. Criticized for his arm in the past. He's on his way to a career in coaching imo so probably a good back up to Dukes as he transi...

One has to ask why Hamilton cut him at the start of camp. They gave him a $5K signing bonus and he was set to make $93....

Re: Lions' receivers

After watching today's scrimmage and the past 4 days of practice there is zero reason to go scrap-heaping somebody else's cast-offs. Fulgham and Eberhardt aren't just looking like leading candidates but are looking like seasoned vets who came to camp with spots locked up. Eberhardt made a highlight...

Re: Training camp 2024

The Lions debuted a new-look FanFest featuring three separate events on Saturday, Play with the Pros for kids in the morning, a scrimmage at Hillside Stadium in the afternoon and a downtown block party with food, games, vendor booths, entertainment and player autographs in the evening. Previously a...

Re: Lions' receivers

It will be interesting to see if someone of note gets cut from other teams and tempt the Lions to bring another receiver in. Sounds to me as Fulgham and Eberhardt are leading candidates to fill the openings left vacant by Rhymes and Whitehead. No depth to speak of behind either. Same goes for Cottoy...
