RIP Carl Weathers

Great actor. Made the Rocky franchise the hit it was. I did not know he played for the Lions for 2 seasons.

Re: Lions vs. Bombers Oct. 15, 2022

They explained on the radio. If a player is out of bounds when he picks up the ball. The ball is out of bounds. Lions coach said he had just talked about the rule with Williams.

Re: Elks vs. Lions Aug. 19, 2021

Some thoughts Lions offense is very sputtery, Reilly was not accurate on his deep throws several times the receiver had to come back the to the ball as it was thrown short. Defense did not look as good as last week. Not enough pressure on Harris especially when you do a three man rush. Any decent CF...

Re: Montreal vs. BC

So how cheap are the lions getting. On the field goal the ball went into the stands. A bc place host came and took it back. That is a bit over the top.

Re: 2019 training camp

Was at training camp the last 4 days. Saw Hill go down today. He was lined up on a play took one step and went down in considerable pain. Looked like an Achilles. Some thoughts. Lloyd is the best of the backups. Apadoca not far behind and Sears has a long way to go. Guenard has look good in very lim...

Re: Riders 24 - Lions 21, Post-Game Stats and Comments

An average team that made too many mistakes got beat by an average team that made less mistakes. I don't think BC or Riders are going anywhere in the playoffs this year. Early in the season we had more than one running play now I guess they lost those pages of the play book. So so predictable, hand ...

SSK @ HAM
Hamilton

BC @ OTT
Take BC
Lulay is only going to get better. Hopefully less brain cramps because that kind of comeback only happens once a year if you are lucky.

WPG @ TOR
Toronto in a squeaker at home.

MTL @ CGY
Calgary even if BLM doesn't play.

Re: Lions 20 - Bombers 17, Post-Game Stats and Comments

A win is a win but my oh my was there a lot of brain cramps by the Lions. 1. Sleeping on an onside kick. I sat in the stands thinking to myself watch out for it Winnipeg might just go for it. But I then thought no Reinbold would not allow them to be so unprepared. Oh well. 2. Shotgun on 3rd down 3. ...

Re: Games of Week 5, July 12-14, 2018

This week i think it is again Calgary, just too good right now.

Edmonton who has some weaknesses but will pull it out.

And I hope BC can put a game together and win, I dont think Winnipeg is that much better than us.

Re: Games of Week 3, June 28 to June 30, 2018

Calgary, this could be a really good game. Hamilton, I think Winnipeg comes down to earth. B.C., if we want to be near the top in the west we have to beat Edmonton and Calgary. Especially when Edmonton has so many injuries. Saskatchewan, Montreal is a mess, will win some this year but who knows when.

Re: Season Opener - Getting Ready for the Als

Took in practice today and was happy to see much more movement and misdirection from the offense. Noticed a more aggressive attitude on special teams too. Shaq Johnson did not participate in practice, looked like Vandervoort was taking his place. Rutley also riding the bike. Looking forward to Satur...

Re: Predict the standings

From what I saw at training camp and in the preseason game I am quite optimistic. Going to have to gel as a team pretty quickly for the Lions to have a good season. My predictions are: Edmonton 13 -5 BC 12 - 6 Calgary 12 - 6 Sask 10 - 8 Wpg 7- 11 Toronto 10-8 Ottawa 8- 10 Hamilton 7 - 11 MTL 2 - 16 ...
